Art Remillard talks with Chris Beneke and Christopher Grenda about their new edited volume, The Lively Experiment: Religious Toleration in America from Roger Williams to the Present. Beneke is Associate Professor of History at Bentley University, and Grenda is Professor of History at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York. This volume grew from a conference sponsored by the Newport Historical Society in 2013.
