Dave Krueger speaks with Elizabeth Pérez about her new book Religion in the Kitchen: Cooking, Talking, and the Making of Black Atlantic Traditions published by New York University Press in 2016.  Dr. Pérez is currently an assistant  professor of religion at Dartmouth College, and beginning this summer, she will be an assistant professor of Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
