Christopher B. Barnett received his Doctor of Philosophy in Theology at the University of Oxford. Among his publications are two books — Kierkegaard, Pietism and Holiness (Ashgate, 2011) and From Despair to Faith: The Spirituality of Søren Kierkegaard (Fortress Press, 2014)—and his next major project is Theology and the Films of Terrence Malick (coedited with Clark J. Elliston, Routledge, 2016). He is Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Programming in the Department of Theology & Religious Studies at Villanova University.
