Alexis Karlin is a rising senior at the Ranney School and a communication intern at the Marginalia Review of Books. At Ranney she is captain of the varsity tennis team and plays the drums. She is also a part of the speech and debate team and has participated in Harvard Model Congress. Additionally, Alexis volunteers at Katzenbach School for the Deaf. She is passionate about sign language and has taught basic signs to kindergartners. She is also involved in the charity Hand to Hand where she works with disabled children, visiting them in their homes weekly.
