Kristian Petersen talks with Sohail Daulatzai, Associate Professor at University of California Irvine, about Islam and Hip Hop, and his exhibit Return of the Mecca: The Art of Islam and Hip Hop. Daulatzai is Associate Professor of Film and Media Studies and Associate Professor of African American Studies at UC-Irvine. He is also the author of Black Star, Crescent Moon: The Muslim International and Black Freedom Beyond America.
