Suzanne Schneider received her Ph.D. in 2014 from the Department of Middle East, South Asian and African Studies at Columbia University. She is the Director of Operations for the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research and a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Religion and Media, New York University.
