Scott C. Jones is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Covenant College. Most of his work relates to Israelite and ancient Near Eastern wisdom literature. Scott is currently working on two major projects: the first is an introduction to Israelite Wisdom Literature, and the second is a commentary on Psalms 1-41 for the Illuminations commentary series, for which he also serves as the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament editor. In 2014, he was an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where he worked on a project entitled “The Role of the Wisdom Psalms in the Theology of the First Davidic Psalter.”
