Robert Merrihew Adams

robert adamsRobert Merrihew Adams is Distinguished Research Professor at the Center for the Philosophy of Religion at Rutgers University. He previously taught at the University of Michigan, UCLA, Yale, Oxford, and UNC-Chapel Hill. His books, all from Oxford University Press, are: The Virtue of Faith and Other Essays in Philosophical Theology (1987), Leibniz: Determinist, Theist, Idealist (1994), Finite and Infinite Goods: A Framework for Ethics (1999), and A Theory of Virtue: Excellence in Being for the Good (2006).
