Jason Bruner

Larsen (Bruner) Contributor Photo (1)Jason Bruner is an Assistant Professor of Global Christianity in the School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies at Arizona State University. His research has focused on the history of the Protestant missionary movement, the history of Christianity in East Africa, conversion, and revivalism. He has published peer-reviewed articles in venues such as the Journal of Religion in Africa, Journal of Anglican Studies, and Social Sciences and Missions. He recently completed a book manuscript on the East African Revival in late colonial Uganda and is in the early stages of a research project on religion, health, and healing in Uganda, from the late nineteenth century to the present.
