Aaron Griffith is assistant professor of history at Sattler College. He completed his graduate training at Duke University Divinity School and was previously a postdoctoral research associate at the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis. His first book, God’s Law and Order: The Politics of Punishment in Evangelical America, came out with Harvard University Press in 2020. His interests include modern evangelicalism, religion and American politics, and the history of criminal justice.
