Bruno Reinhardt holds a PhD in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Utrecht University, Netherlands. He is author of Espelho ante Espelho:a Troca e a Guerra entre o Neopentecostalismo e os Cultos Afro-Brasileiros em Salvador (Attar/Pronex, 2007) and has published articles on anthropological theory and the anthropology of religion and secularism in Brazil and Ghana.
