Daniel Davies is the author of Method and Metaphysics in Maimonides’ Guide for the Perplexed, which received an honorable mention from the Jordan Schnitzer Book Awards sponsored by the Association of Jewish Studies. His research focuses on the history of philosophy, comparative theology, and philosophy of religion. He has also contributed to the new series of Cambridge Galen Translations and has written a number of chapters and articles. Alongside cataloguing manuscripts from the Cairo Genizah, he has lectured courses at Leo Baeck College, London and Canterbury Christ Church University.
