Ruth Sheridan is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Charles Sturt University, Sydney Australia. Her first monograph, Retelling Scripture: The Jews and the Scriptural Citations in John 1:19-12:15 (Leiden: Brill, 2012) won a 2013 Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise. Ruth has published widely on the Gospel of John in a variety of journals and books and maintains a particular research interest in early Christian anti-Judaism.
