The editors welcome proposals for book reviews, essays, interviews, and op-eds, but you should first read our notes for contributors before contacting us. Once you have done so, use the contact form below but keep your proposal to 500 words or less.

• To request a book for review, tell us why this book deserves to be reviewed and your qualifications to review it.
• To propose an essay, tell us how you will pursue the topic for a diverse readership.
• To propose an interview, provide highlights of the interviewee’s biography and the types of questions you would like to pursue.
