Emily Chang is a high school junior at The Ranney School in New Jersey and also an intern at the Marginalia Review of Books. She recently participated in a summer journalism program at the New York Times, and she is currently enrolled in a college-level journalism course. Her experience includes positions as Editor-in-Chief for the Garden State Skating Club newsletter, staff reporter for her school’s newspaper, a public forum debater on her school speech and debate team, and a delegate for Model United Nations. Emily is also a competitive figure skater – a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist, a two-time national medalist and seven-time finalist in the National Solo Dance Championships. She writes about skating on her award-winning blog.
